This course teaches PC skills in researching court decisions, literature and legal materials using legal databases.
The ever-increasing range of resources available offers new possibilities for lawyers:
The heavily laden walk through the library is often superfluous; the use of databases or the Internet saves the user time and energy. This is particularly interesting for students with regard to term papers and seminar papers.
The aim of the course is to enable students to use the possibilities of computer-aided research for their own work.
The course not only deals with the technical possibilities of the most important databases, but also gives advice on how to find relevant literature before using a database.
Legal knowledge is not required, so participation in the course is recommended from the first semester onwards.
